It all started with a simple idea. An idea founded on both our lifestyle and belief system, embedded by a dedication towards caring for our furry four legged friends. Fernweh Miniature Schnauzers was founded on the principle that dogs are family. It’s a phrase and belief system that we hear often. It touches on the emotional and physical impact that our four legged friends can have within a home. It hints at a value set that elevates our canine companions; an acknowledgement that they represent something more…something bigger.

Our breeding program is dedicated to producing healthy bloodlines because of the heartbreak an unhealthy mini schnauzer puppy can have on a family. We follow our socialization program diligently, because we want every one of our miniature schnauzer puppies to be prepared and flourish in their new homes. Our interview process and puppy matching program are designed to ensure each one of our miniature schnauzer puppies is homed with the correct family and has the best chance of succeeding. You see, if you truly do care and if you dogs really are family, the quality of our dogs and happiness of our adopters will take care of itself.
